Triduum Retreat: Byzantine Hymns and Traditions

Led by Fr. Maximos Davies

Saint John Paul II wrote “the Church should breathe with her two lungs” (Ut Unum Sint, no. 54). To help us appreciate the Paschal Mystery through the Eastern Catholic lens, Fr. Maximos Davies from Holy Resurrection Monastery (St. Nazianz, WI) will lead us through this great feast using Byzantine hymns and traditions. The retreat begins at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 and concludes at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 31. Cost: $330 (includes meals, renovated retreat room with private bathroom, and retreat presentations).

Join us on retreat as we reflect on your experience of the Easter Vigil, break open the riches of our shared faith, and reflect on how to participate in the Church’s mission as lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. Conversation in the Spirit: A Retreat on the Synod

The universal Church has been invited into a synod by Pope Francis, with the first meeting of the Synod on Synodality being held last October. Join Sr. Marie Kolbe Zamora, a Manitowoc Franciscan Sister and a participant in the Synod on Synodality, and Dr. Julia McStravog, senior advisor to the United States Bishops Conference on the Synod, in exploring the nuts and bolts of the Synod as well as more deeply engaging the practice of discernment and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Cost: $450 (scholarships available; cost includes meals, renovated retreat room with private bathroom, and retreat presentations).
