Valentines Retreat for Couples | Relationships are Messy…and That’s Okay!
Marriage is hard work! But intentionally making a marriage work is actually the most important work you can do. Yet, too many of us turn toward our screens and smartphones. On this eve of St. Valentine’s Day, Carol Bruess (aka Cupid) will share how the choice of “turning toward” each other is revealed in the smallest gestures every day.
Carol Bruess, Ph.D., wife of St. Norbert College President Brian Bruess, is professor emeritus of communication and journalism and formerly director of family studies at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. She is currently a resident scholar at the Cassandra Voss Center at St. Norbert College.
