Abbey Grounds: Discovering the Basics of Our Faith | Lectio Divina: Walking with Christ in Scripture
Supported by Marie Adee in loving memory of her husband Don, this series examines some of the basics of our faith as we strive to live as companions on the journey.
What is the Bible to you? A good book? A history book or textbook? The Word of God? Our understanding of Scripture often comes from a desire to know our faith. Yet, Scripture is so much more than learning about Christ. It is the opportunity to know Christ intimately and walk with Him. By praying the Road to Emmaus story from Luke’s Gospel using Lectio Divina, or Sacred Reading, we will discover the role of Scripture in our lives and faith.
