Aging Positively: A Look into Ageism
Growing older in Brown County conjures many images for us all. Some good and some not so good. Positive perceptions of age can increase longevity by 7.5 years! So what gets in the way? Transitions to retirement, ageism, opportunities for growth, loneliness and isolation, and outliving your resources are just a few. There is so much to be celebrated, but we often have to look for it among the complexities of growing older. Uncover the joy of long-lived creativity, and learn about some local community resources to help along the way.
