Faith and Film Series : Rabbit-Proof Fence
In this 2002 film, Director Phillip Noyce chronicles the true story of three Aboriginal girls who escape after being plucked from their homes in Australia to be trained as domestic staff. The courageous girls set off on a trek across the Outback to return home in this challenging film that takes place in 1931. A showing of the film followed by discussion will be included.
