November 13, 2021 Living a Norbertine Spirituality
Many are familiar with Jesuit and Franciscan spirituality. For 900 years, men and women have lived a Norbertine spirituality, including here at St. Norbert Abbey. Join Fr. Matthew Dougherty, O. Praem. as he introduces and shares insights on the lesser-known five pillars of Norbertine life and spirituality. Explore how those pillars can be included in lives lived outside of an abbey–in the very real and busy world. Learn why including Norbertine spirituality in one’s daily life can bring peace and a sense of purpose. Curious about how to live this unique spirituality in your life? Join us for an afternoon of enriching talks and time for reflection.
At the conclusion of the afternoon, participants are welcome and encouraged to join the Norbertine community for sung Vespers (evening prayer).
Saturday, November 13, 1:00–4:30 p.m.; Vespers, 5:00 p.m.
Facilitator: Fr. Matthew Dougherty, O. Praem.
Cost: $20 (includes presentations, light refreshments)
