The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults states that the parish community “must always be fully prepared in the pursuit of its apostolic vocation to give help to those who are searching Christ” (RCIA, 9). This workshop will provide new and current RCIA ministers with an introduction to the Church’s process of Christian Initiation: it’s periods and steps, terminology, rites, and overarching principles of discipleship formation. [Participants will be asked to bring their copy of the RCIA Study Edition, or to purchase a copy when registering.] Presenter: Michael Poradek
