Norbertine Center for Spirituality Renovation
Starting this summer the Norbertine Center for Spirituality will be undergoing renovations. To kickoff our renovation project we partnered with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore and St. Vincent DePaul to donate the furniture from over 30 guest bedrooms. This included mattresses, lamps, desks, chairs, pillows and blankets, as well as other items. Over 15 of volunteers from the LAForce Volunteer Program spent the day removing items from the guest rooms to be distributed to ReStore and St. Vincent DePaul.
With the donations, the process of the Norbertine Center for Spirituality’s guest room renovation has begun. The renovation will create 30 newly refurbished air conditioned guest rooms each with ensuite bathrooms. The project includes both singles and double occupancy rooms, as well as ADA accessible rooms. Additionally there will be refreshed spiritual direction rooms, lounge spaces, and small group meeting rooms.
Guestroom renovations will continue until Summer 2023. The Norbertine Center for Spirituality will remain open for special events, programs, and conference room rentals. Spiritual direction will continue to remain open during this project as well.
