Ordination to the Priesthood – Johnathan F. Turba

Fr. Johnathan was ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. Norbert Abbey in De Pere, WI. On Sunday, June 12, 2022 Fr. Johnathan celebrated his Mass of Thanksgiving surrounded by the Norbertine community, family, and friends.
Fr. Johnathan Turba, is the son of Michael and Patricia (Fredrick) Turba of Hortonville, WI.

Fr. Johnathan was vested in the white Norbertine habit on August 27, 2016 and professed Simple Vows on August 28, 2018. He professed Solemn Vows on August 28, 2021 and was ordained to the diaconate on September 4, 2021.
In 2010 he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in music education. In May he graduated from the Catholic Theological Union (CTU) in Chicago, receiving a Masters of Divinity degree.
During his time in Chicago, he served in a variety of ministerial capacities, including helping with campus ministry at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and serving as Deacon at Immaculate Conception–Five Holy Martyrs Parish in the Brighton Park neighborhood.
